If your getting somebody else to do a roof chop, It really aint gonna be cheap.
I was thinking of doing one on mine. You have to cut your desired length out the pillars but then somehow make up for the extra width and length in the roof (the pillars get wider the further down the car goes)
I also have Corbeau Forza's and when I test fitted them, their was about 3-4" clearance from the roof.... but that was with the subframes on the cross member.
So if you where to mount the seats to the floor-pan and not to the cross member, I guess there would be 5-6" clearance.
And by the way, I did abit of research and I though 3-4" was the best to cut out. Althought I saw some that had so much more and they looked awesome, but they wouldnt be very practical to drive. (Unless your 4 foot nothing and have letterbox eyes)

It doesn't cost much to have your glass cut actually... well not from my experience!

Yep, and ever smash a window or get a crack in one then its no autoglass replacement, everytime its a custom jobby!
However, will make you mini slightly faster due to the slightly smaller drag coefficent!

That really isn't a bad price to be looking at for everything done.
But you should trust the guy and keep checking on him to make sure he's doing it right. Take pictures and post them, get peoples opinions if he's doing it right if your not sure.
Chopping and welding half the car back together could end in tears if he arses it up.
