I would have that looked at, as many have said. Also, that would probably be cheaper to fix at a garage, than replace by yourself. Although your boot looks to be in 'as new' condition (besides the dent), insurers will not replace something that is not in new condition with something brand new, eg if somebody crashed into the front of a rusty Mini, it would have to be replaced with a rusty front end, so I'm pretty sure if it went through insurance they'll find any little worm hole they can to avoid paying up.
Sorry to hear about this though, both me and my girlfriend have had our Minis in body shops repairing rear damage
A mate is going to look at it tonight and tommorow if possible take it to a mates garage and he for sure knows what hes doing.
I see what you mean, yeah I can imagine becuase its 17yr old car they wont pay out for new either and i bet ibe sent to one of there own garages and really
in this instance think id rather have cash to replace it myself.
