Right guys, (mainly) and girls.

It's taken me a while to post this.
Over a year ago now, (October 20th to be precise!) i found a lump on one of my nuts. 12 months later i'm all clear, having been diagnosed with testicular cancer, and having been given two 3 week courses of chemotherapy back in february. I found this early, it hadn't spread anywhere, and after surgery, the chemo was more of a precaution. It was absolutely awful. Really Grim. And to be honest, i still can get pretty upset by the whole goings on, but tough luck, and i'm better now, life goes on.

BUT, I FOUND IT EARLY.

I was only 19 when i found it (only 20 now). Cancer will get you what ever age. Please lads, check your nuts.
It's not a topic that's discussed much, people shy away from saying,

''doctor can you grab my nuts and check 'em - there's summit up.''

I waited two weeks from finding a lump, to getting it checked out, apparently some people wait for over a year....

Girlies, get your boyfriend/husband/ brother/sons or any male relative to check his.
GET IT DONE.
After all, you wouldn't go out in your mini without making sure your nuts are in good order.
Best wishes all.
James

my best mate had the same at 19

does make you think a bit at that age

but 19 years later he has 2 daughters, so you can get on with life with just one :D

good luck to the future and keep up with the regular tests and scans, my mate has had it come back twice now but caught it very early both times and is fit and well again

Glad your OK.None of us really like having to go to the doctors but sometimes we have to.It does hurt if you even get a big boil on some bits.A few years ago sitting on the loo a big wasp stung Mr.happy on his head.

Glad your ok now and very brave of you to start this topic. I had a hernia a couple of years back (at 19) and i know its not as serious, but it can still kill you if untreated. I had the operation and got it sorted and i am fine now, its really not as bad as people say, much better than possible/certain death if left alone.

Most the time a lump That moves about when you feel it before pain and swelling.Never fell them hard or things get worse.Women always check there parts to.Sometimes things are only a spot or boil but that is on the skin not inside the shopping bag. :D
