what does the lump feel like?

You should get any lump checked, because you nor I are a doctor! But as per James I believe I was told they don't move about.

I found a lump myself a few years back now, I went to my GP with my concerns and as I was in the forces at the time I didnt know who the doctor would be. The doc turned out to be a middle aged lady of a similar age to my mum, I guess you could say I nearly bottled it but as I'd already made it in their I just got on with it and after the old "I've seen it all before talk" she examined me and confirmed a lump. I was referred to the local hospital where I had an ultrasound scan done, which confirmed a 7mm lump on the left side of my left testicle, the nurse who did the scan said the lump was nothing to worry about as it was benign, and that was the end of that. I'm not sure if its something I should get rechecked every couple of years as they never said, but I'm glad I did it even if I did get ultrasound jelly all over my balls for the cause.

Thanks James753 for highlighting this, it should be more in peoples minds to check

Well it is best to get things checked by your G.P. My poor very old mate in his late 70s had a problem and would not go so we had to get him the Ambulace, they went as big as footballs and had to be mended. He is still ok.Health fears make you ill on there own.

I had a problem with mine when younger lol they didnt come down as should so had an op in teens to move them down in sack lol, but one still was not low enough and if its still high its no good for producing sperm and more likely to turn cancerous so had it moved when in early twenties, now i will walk off balance lol!
With one things meant to be same fertility etc they did offer me a prosthetic one but i thought nah!
One thing you may think is a bump is theres like a ridge up back of them that is the pipe that connects to your testes, this can be mistaken for lump but what ever you think always get it checked out!!!

Spot on there, have the 'balls' to get it checked. As mentioned, quite a lot of testicular lumps are benign, or cysts, or random swellings, Non movable lumps can be worse, but not necessarily.

Well glad your all OK.Its turned into quite a man chat.We are all much better off with are boxer shorts these days.In the early 80s very tight small pants were in fashion and they would cause a few problems and the days of matted-mots.
