To be fair, most MOT centers dont mind providing the light shines Red and orange.
Mine failed because the indicators wernt orange enough.
As for the Tunnels, Dont do it!
They are getting more and more common as they go on...
Ive seen a car where the origional clusters were kept, But sunk in. And a flat persepx was fitted into the chrome surround.
They looked good.
As for the jewl Lenses. I REALLY want some of those.
Few Bluetack Reflectors for the MOT. Problem solved!

I dont know why people Rate Mk1 lights so much.
is it a "status" thing. Like "Oooh, mk1, Were cool"
Sian, The MK1 lights dont have a reverse light, by law you dont need a Reverse light. So if you are ok without a Reverse light, then no. you dont need the big white light on the boot.
I still like the Mk3+ Light with the Jewl lenses!

Nope. You do not need a reverse light at all by law.
But you do need a fog light after a certain year.
Edit- Oh, and yeah. I have bought some mk1 lights... In my opinion they suit a Mini better.... Miniture lights for a Miniture car.
