i got one, got myself a nice 9 draw top box for my roll cab, that should be £140, i got it for just under £100! its also amazing how much cheaper you get wiper blades for with the card!

Halfords also accept NVQ/City & Guilds certificates for a card, should really be a Motor Vehicle related qualification but if it is engineering based you can usually bluff it..............took my C & G Mech Eng certificate along but the guy taking my details never even looked at it anyway. If you get turned down at one Halfords just try another one or go along when someone different is on the counter.

One of the following qualifying criteria is required to prove you are a mechanic:

That wont work, only the managers can authorize them, and theres normally only 4 different people, infact, your more likly to get a card with the manager than anyone else in the store.

Dont go in and ask for one on a monday, friday, after normal working hours, or on a saturday or sunday. The boss will just tell us to ask you to come back when were not busy.

Also, i would recomend taking a print out of the entitlement bit from our website.
If i can find the one i printed off, ill scan it in, it has more criteria so nearly everyone on here could get one.

To be fair, most people on here deserve one anyway :)

Well i like H/fords its like Santas Grotto in my local store, they give you so much free having no idea what it is,does or price. They even open the glass cases so you can feel the goods and leave a free box for them to recycle.Great to help them in the work place many staff love a treat to for there service, better payed than the long hours.Better than Tescos auto-tills for free dinner and a tot.. :)
