Morning Peeps.

I\m in a bit of quandary over Matilda's new shoes.

Currently, she totters around on anthracite W&P wheels, but they are really scabby & after the winter they will need to be replaced.

The original idea was to preorder 5.5X12 silver mbracing wheels, however, financial constraints have to be applied nowadays, so I'm looking at the more budgety end of the market. :D

I am thinking either mock D1s:

Or Silver or Black mock mambas:

This is she, when she was still spangley...

The mambas would give her an extra inch or so width, which might affect the handling, not sure. And they might poke out a wee bit from the arches...which may be an issue, or it may not.

What do you fink? Opinions are appreciated...

Mambas! but do they come as 12's? The arch-poke issue is always one to consider, by the book it should only be the tyre sidewall (last time I knew) but lots of people, myself included get away with lots more.

:D

Aye they do. 6 X 12. I can't quite work out the offset difference, too, so they might be well poky!

Silver or black?

Are the rims lacquered? Will they get pocked & pitted really quickly?

Sooo many questions...

Mambas they are the nicest out of them all, but u would need to change the brakes to have them on 10"s would look amazing tho.

I'm quite liking the mambas Ju, I had a little drool over some when I went to Combe. In black with a polished rim would compliment her nicely.
