Might well do, but they will be rubberless. Can't afford new yokos for the new wheels. I shall keep you in mind, Mr W.

don't forget to factor in new wheel nuts (if they're different) and the cost of swapping the tyres over - you might manage a to negotiate on the rubber relocation as part of the purchase - or if you flog her old booties on, work something out with the buyer - they'll need tyres even if they aren't yours.
Yer, fanks Effel.
Should be able to get the newbies fitted, balanced & rubbered for v little charge.
I'll plobly be ordering the wheels online. Not sure if new workplace will appreciate them being delivered here (!) so may just get them sent to a mechanicky-friend.

Maybe if you're on a budget refurb the ones you have,
I've looked into it. It's actually cheaper & less hassle to buy new wheels. Bl**dy diamond-cut rubbish...

That's nice for you!
I can't, David*. I'd have to pay for labour & schizz. But thanks, anyway.

I'd save the money for now and put it towards the 10's, when she's ready -If you buy new now, you'll only lose on them - when you come to buy new ones (If you do decide you want to go 10s), you won't get as much back.

Thanks Bean.
Her markoneisation (<---new word! ) is a long way off. When she needs new wings an' t'ing I shall do the whole conversion, but that's not going to be be for a couple of years or more.
