Not only did Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) have a Mini, he also races an Aston Martin and is a very competent driver, despite his screen persona as a bumbling idiot.
I have a friend who has raced an Aston against him and he says that Rowan is a really nice guy.

Nope. It was Marc Bolan....
I think this needs to be removed from the list.
Marc Bolan never ever had a driving licence. Wasn't his mini he died in, no record (iirc) of him owing a mini, he did however collect Rolls Royces and other cars, but had a phobia about driving them...
Gloria (something) his GF did own a 1275GT Mini (FOX something, oh the grey matter), the one Marc tragically died in... as a passenger.

Don't you just hate those $%^&*£ Italians, they even look cool getting out of a mini. When I get out of mine it's like..
Grunt, ooff, strain, roll to the right, and finally catch my foot in the seat belt which didn't recoil properly!!!
Perhaps it maybe that Enzo hadn't fallen foul of the pie & pint diet
