Theres nothing illegal about the idea of angel eyes, as long as the light is white. If the minisport ones state not for road use it means they are not 'e' marked, i.e they have not been made to the current regulations

Heres mine when it had angel eyes. I took them off as they wernt my cuppa tea.

I had them through one MOT and never had a problem.

As always forget MOT's they have nothing to do with the legality of the lights.

The only this that matters is if the lights you have are fully 'E' marked or not.

Dose any one else think angle eyes make the mini look sleepy like if they were its eyes it would be tired.

mine are mot complient too with E mark and white light. look great with dim/dip resistor models as it looks like the car has eyes with the dot in the middle.

haha, yes, she does that a fair bit.... i swear my car has mood swings!

Plus, its her "time of the month" this week... and was when that picture was taken haha

bought mine from Northwest minis. when i enquired the helpful chap said they were completly road legal as long as the side light bulb ONLY shows white.
the set i have are marked with ''SAE'' and some other lettering.
