i ordered a det of juwel lenses of minispeed, must be a good few months ago now, they didnt fit correctly and they asked me to send them back so they could have a look at them,
they recieved them over a month ago now, and have yet to speak to me to resolve this
i have phoned them almost every day now for the last 3 weeks, and i keep getting told that "james" is either busy, out, or on another call,
i refuse to believe that in 3 weeks he hasnt had 5 minutes to call, me
has anybody else had bad dealings with them, or am i the first.

I'm lucky as i live 5 mins from these, never had any real issues although when i asked for a quote for some bodywork it took me by surprise (£1800 for a front end) they didn't get the work but there parts dept are spot on, a bit pricier than some but as there local i dont have to pay P&P and if somethings wrong i just take it back so works out about the same price in the end

When I put my Mini on the road I ordered all the bits from them. Only problem was one of the master cylinders was wrong and tho they promised to repay the postage for sending it back (it was thier ******* up, got picked wrong or something) a few years later I'm still waiting. They also messed my bro around immensely about delivering some panels he'd ordered, which I thought might just be a fluke. They then did the same to me when I ordered some brake pads and a high volume cast impeller water pump (they were found wanting during my pre trackday once over). Pads arrived promptly, no sign of a pump. The trackday was at RAF Marham, a live base so you have to submit personal details early to be vetted and book the vehicle (and towcar if you're using one) by make model and reg. So basically I had to take the Mini or right off the entry money I chased them for a fortnight until it, after many broken promises, it arrived the day before the trackday.......
And it wasn't what I'd ordered
Clearly they were out of stock and rather admit this (and lose the order) they'd stalled and when time ran out they just sent what was lying around. something I could've gone to the factors up the road and got, probably cheaper, not had to pay postage and stuck it on the work account too! I would have sent it back out of principle but it arrived late on Friday and I needed to load up for a 6.00am start Saturday. No choice but to fit it I've not used them since.

About 20mins from me. Never had a problem with them. The girl in the parts dept is very helpful.

Not wise to say anything negative about any supplier.
However, most people I know who work on Minis a lot use Mini Spares for their parts.

I've never had a problem with parts from them, but after I had had a crash too vini there to get fixed up and all was fine I thought, I'm in the middle of restoring vini and have found that the innerwing they said they had replaced wasnt it was just hammered "straight" and they didn't notice that front subby was cracked so dont ever let them do body work!!!!!!!

i enquired about a set of 5x10 cooper s replica wheels from them a few years back as they are the only supplier in the uk. me and my dad booked a day off work to go down there to pick them up, as we were informed they would be ready for us when we got there the next morning.
got there and to my horror they now said they didnt have any in stock, and thet the next lot would be a week or two away. so reluctantly i paid up and had to wait, they did say they would post them to me for free, but it doesnt exactly cover the TWO AND A HALF HOUR, 140 mile drive we had gone through for nothing!
they then sent the wheels to me (after 6 weeks) without any centre caps, and with the wrong tyres on! i called them recently about another set of the same wheels and despite their website and magazine adds saying they still sell them, aparently they havnt had any for some time now.
not impressed. mini spares near me are much better, and john there is pretty good on whats what.
