I'm actually doing it at the moment, was keeping it under my hat until it was done though!
Its not that easy as the mechanisms are quite deep, i've had to convert my windows to Mk1 style to get over it.

This is my prototype door as the proper ones are going to be carbon
Gtr handles are similar but open the other way i think!

I'm mid doing a trial barchetta handle one, just be warned, the plastic painted bit is not flat, it's moulded curved ABS to suit the barchetta's curves, so that will need to be "modified", not to mention the mechanisms!
