Got a HIF carb (not sure if it's a 44 or 38 yet) and just wondering if there is a quick and easy way to ensure the jet is clear. Last time I was on the motorway my mini was hunting and kangaroo-ing so I pulled over, checked all connections and leads (which are pretty new) and after nursing it to a motorway services I let everything cool down and off I was again. I'm pretty sure it was dirt in the carb, but turned out to be a blowing inlet/exhaust manifold, but is there a quick way to clear the needle as it could have been that too?
Thanks in advance!
