slighty raised up for MITP
not ideal in london, and on the arches, oh and on the tyres unless you want a huge marking on the tyre where it rubs like crazy
damn i miss driving it
firstly nice cat! lol
i have to say that is silly how low that is in the "cat" picture, you cant tell me you drove that like that? there is less than 5mm of clearance?
you would only have to roll the car over an uneaven surface to get that to rub (E.G one wheel on a lowered curb/entrance to your driveway) and if it doesnt rub then you clearly havnt got any suspension movement at all. not to mention the brake pipes on the top of the radius arm fowling on the underside of the bootfloor.
sorry to sound like a party pooper but thats just daft on a road car, or a race car for that matter. if you want the car that low (actual distance of car body to the ground, not tyre to arch) then you have to do it properly, tubbed arches, shortened shockers, which even then will need to go into extended turrets so they dont bottom out.
again sorry to sound like a party pooper, its just dangerous dude

Yeah you are right, i did drive it that low for about 2 weeks if i remeber correctly, you could drive it like that and it wouldent rub, with just myself in it, i have gaz shocks adjusted in the half way position. but if you have a passenger it would scrape on the body, i actually ruined a n/s yoko a008 because of just a passenger in it, lots of smoke in your mirror from the tyre! But coudent go over any single speed bumps with just me in it, as it literally got wedged on the exhaust! i once had to reverse back because i couldent get over one once. So end of the day its okay to have it that low if you have pretty much solid suspension, and no mates!

What are some cheap/easy to fit springs to get
Buy a Haynes and read up about mini suspension if you're considering lowering your mini - It's not a case of putting new 'springs' on.....
The wheels aren't bolted onto that clubman and i can't see studs either so I'm guessing the hubs are off and the wheels are just tucked under for a laugh....
Be sure to make your 'new cool lowered' mini, adjustable. A mini that can't get onto a brake tester roller and MOT ramp will fail straight away...

Cool poke with the 6x10s.
Where we're going we don't need ground clearance.
