I came home for another weekend and unfortunately my Mini Spares package didn't arrive in time so it rendered today fairly pointless.. although I have had some other things to photograph and sell, so have a look in the for sale section.

But, a Maniflow package did arrive









Incredibly frustrating that a piece of gasket paper was the only thing from stopping me putting it back together!

I won't be back till Christmas now, but I hope to get the engine finished and back together before I go back in January.

Had word from George as well -

Shell is beige inside and out, doors, bonnet and boot are painted beige as well. Harness bar, hinges and roof left.

Had a photo through from George, I did want to keep this all under wraps and reveal it as a big surprise with some proper high res photos when it arrives home, but I can't wait to show you all!



Looks a lot greyer than it really is due to the red lights and some colour sanding going on.

But overall, bloody brilliant!

Ha yeah so I have!

He said hopefully a few weekends time! But almost definitely before Christmas!

Shame I'm working my socks off with all this University work, but I'm staying an extra week and a half to get it all done to free up some time at home in the garage!

Ordered some interior parts from Retro Retrims but I've heard nothing or had nothing from them.. ordered 2 weeks and 2 days ago!

I am home for Christmas! and I stayed for an extra week and worked extra hard (12 hour days in the studio) to ensure my projects are ready to submit when I get back. Which means I can spend a lot more time in the garage over the next 3 weeks
