One that looks completely standard, but has monster "performance goodies" hidden away out of view.... "a wolf in sheeps clothing" as some might say!!

yeah thats the saxo engine, same as the peugeot 106 GTI lump...have to say, didnt think they would fit, the engines quite a wide unit along with the gearbox but hey, if its on 16v minis i guess it fits

looks like alot of work but it would be great iv got a print out for the engine for 146bhp so its had a small tweaking lol

They require a little bit of work to get the power levels up to reasonable levels. But its no real effort to change the management, exhaust manifold and onto itb`s though.
Bonus is i think they share the same gearbox design (nearly) as the k-series. the r65 boxes?

Basic internals are same, but outer casing is different. The longer saxo vtr 5th gear is all that is of benetfit to the rover scene, but not really of benefit the other way aroundBonus is i think they share the same gearbox design (nearly) as the k-series. the r65 boxes?

i quite like that front end.. it gives a nice bit of length (oh-er mrs!!)have to say they have reked the look of that mini with the extented front
