So you pushed up to the front, instead of waiting your turn, got some old boy all worked up.
He could of had a heart attack, that would be a nice Christmas present to his family. You would have been hunted down by the Police and spent some time in the cells, while they investigated his death. All for what ? Really are you and /or the shopping that important ? Season of good will and all that.

haha oh dear, did you not read what he said?

he wanted to exit the car park rather than waiting in a cue...

Yes I did,
" there was a line of cars all waiting for cars to leave"

" i got fed up of waiting so i started to pull around the other drivers to go find another place to park"

all he wanted to do was exit the car park, If he does not want to park his car because of alot of traffic, he may as well get out of the cue and exit.

by the sounds of it, the cars that were waiting, were waiting for other car to get out of spaces?

so maybe the old man though jack was pushing infront to get into a space a car had left,

and not realised that he was trying to exit the car park

i would do the same, if i had to cue for 30 mins to leave the car park and the people in the cue were waiting for spaces.. get abit annoying after a while?

god knows lol

Yes I would wait, because I don't know what the other drivers are wanting to do. They could have wanted to exit as well.
As was stated in the first post and quoted above.

Really any point in swearing ?

I also think that had op be confronted by a younger man, he would have melted and gone meek. But there again it's easy to pick on old people.

i done a funny one yesterday, was parked in an outside carpark, returned to my car, and the car park was gridlocked with people waiting to exit, theres a series of gaps with bollards in a wall near the main road, if you get what i mean,so i managed to squeeze through one of the gaps, over the path and drop down onto the road, some chap let me drop onto the road and was peeing himself laughing! I dread to think what the people in their big cars queing to get out were thinking :)

i often have old people open their car windows and shout at me for being so noisy at traffic lights, i just stick my head out the window and shout "sorry, what did you say? I cant hear you!"

it seems that whenever i have a "run in" with someone on the road, its always an oldie. And for the record, no i am not stereotyping, just stating a fact.

People seem to think that jack was picking on the old man, but it's not always the younger one to blame. Not far for me they was an accident with a young driver and an old man, who would you say was unreasonable about the situation. WRONG, it was the old man shouting and swearing and wanted to fight, but the younger generation always gets for antisocial behavioral.

Yes some of us old folks are funny we drive minis as well. I got my old age pension five or six years ago but still enjoy my mini, it takes all sorts, of all ages to make a world so don't put people into classes.

i had an old sod pull out infront of me today, i locked up and slid on a wet road, horn blazing and headlights on flash, i stopped about 2 inches away from his car, if id hit it (which in no way would have been my fault) i bet i would have got the blame because im a young driver in a "sproused up" car!

He even had the cheek to give me the finger and sit in the car flapping his hands about, if i didnt have anywhere to be i would have followed him until he stopped and had words.
