i dont know anything bout the paint but i remember your post where you were asking bout ideas for your interior and general styling, what did you end up deciding on?

adam

Haha long story!! basically did decide on the matching colour of exterior to interior. Then thought i would give mine own ago. that didnt go great. so then finally decided to go back to original idea of blacking out the inside basically. AFTER ALL THAT!

I was thinking to big. I am gradually going to change the interior instead of all at once. My thinking now is having the stripe of the outside is the whacky side then i am gunna go for clean and tidy inside.

So starting with black dash and painting the dash rails. Then replacing the carpets with all black and removing centre console completely. Then finally moving on to either changing the seat cover or new seats.

Hopefully all will go to plan :)

Conrad

EDIT: Also got some speaker pods from Optimise!

if tha paint is usable for PVC (plastics) there shouldnt really be a problem at all, i sprayed mine in normal satin black off the shelf :)

Perfect! I guess if worst comes to worst i can always replace it!

You so can, the ex’s was all black, plain black vinyl door cards and seats, black plastic trim, black dash rails, dashboard, carpets, etc in fact the only thing that wasn’t black was the headlining. It was far too dark and depressing to sit in, plus bloody uncomfortable in the summer.

Although it was improved, with a few bits of chrome trim and a change of dashboard colour.

Thats not a bad plan at all! Hmmm think im gunna try and get lots of overtime this month :)

Yeah the aluminium was the runner up lol. It kind of lost on price. I think touches of chrome throughout the car will look better.

Thats the plan really. Bits of chrome here and there and then some nice seats with a bit of colour.

I cant see that painting your steering cowling with it should be a problem. Its the same sort of stuff as a corsa dash is made of and I painted my mates with him without any trouble. Came out quite well.
