All of this brings a tear to my eye.... :'(
I love my mini.
The way I see it I have two options...
#1 - Sell it on to someone who has the space to fix it for a lower price....
OR
#2 - Spend another 20 quid or so on a flywheel remover tool.... which I may be able to make at uni on the Water jet cutter (if anyone has the right sizes???)
Check the damage ..... if the flywheel comes off... then i can do a engine rebuild..... if its stuck on the crank... then I haven't got the right tools or space to try and cut it out...
I think you guys are right... loose bolt + loose flywheel = sad times..
The mechanic will just deny it!
Good news is the engine still works....
So annoyed as I just fitted it with Weber 45s and didn't even get to test them out properly! :s
