//Vehicles.
1989 Mayfair

Condition: Been sat for over a year outside, needs a bit of tidying up, but perfectly driving and useable
Price: £600
Location: Near Middlesbrough, North East England
TAX: No Tax
MOT: No MOT

1989 mayfair, White with Black roof, Stage 1 kit, Mary Quant front Seats. Fantastic car, had 2 years of trouble free motoring aside from a wheel bearing which I replaced along with hub. Brand new discs and pads which were fitted just before it was laid up.
I'm an athlete and spend half my year away down south and have to have roof bars to carry a 10 metre long boat, so a mini isn't practical for how my life is at the moment.

It will drive but will need picking up from near Middlesbrough.

I'll put photo's up after taking some tomorrow

Cheers

I think it would need the usual mini things doing pre-MOT, as I said it's been sat for over a year so discs will need cleaning, ball joints etc will need a check over but nothing is broken, I re-shimmed the ball joints in prep for the MOT then had to go away for what turned in to 5 months and I never put it through.
It was all sweet before that though.
Photos will be up tomorrow afternoon

Photos up!

Bit of rust round the usual areas, some bubbling on passenger side door, round front seams and a bit on the back roof gutter. Photo's pretty much show it.

Any other questions don't hesitate to get in touch

Hello there,

lovely looking mini :D

I just wondered what engine was in this car? 998cc or the 1.3 injection? Thanks for your time :P

It's 1989 so I would assume a 998cc.

Ermmm because it's a mini. And it's been sat for a year. Nothing is broken on it, I was driving it right up untill I took it off the road the week before MOT was due to re-shim the ball joints, which should be ok. I wouldn't like to say either way whether it would or wouldn't pass. If I was to put it through tomorrow I'd have my wallet ready to get the usual bits and bobs done.
