Hi guys.
In around 3 months time i will be buying a rover mini but i cannot find any decent 13 inch alloys.
How can i adapt the rover mini to take 15" alloys.
Thanks :D

You could stick whatever size you like on it if you really wanted to and did the correct amount of engineering to the hubs, suspension etc to get them to fit and bolt up correctly.

Nothing is impossible but there would be a lot of work involved. The car just wasnt engineered to take 15" wheels. Expect major issues with handling, clearances, and parts wearing out or breaking prematurely due to the extra strain

Probably, but only if you tub the rear arches and trim the wings to allow suspension movement or steering. It'd be a good idea to check the diameter of a 15" tyre make sure one would fit in a tubbed arch before you commit to any work though.

Interesting....... so if you have a sportspack its more simple. Obviously not all wheels are the same PCD or off set so the chances that the wheels you have in mind fitting without major mods are slim.

yep :)

its all about tyres - if you can find tyres with the same rolling radius as the 175 50 13's fitted to sportspacks your pretty much OK as lomng as you trim bodywork as per sportspacks.

my 14" tyres have a rolling radius of only 6mm more than a 175/50/13 tyres, and have a 45 profile.

im pretty sure you'll find exotic 30 profile and even 25 profile tyres to make 15" wheels work. the ride would be pretty awful though.

I've only seen them on a mini that had heavy modification and honda susepnsion geomettry.

Do they even fit on the back or do they hit the radius arm pivots?
