You'll also get very good at changing wheel bearings.

They will look amazing though.

I wont be using the mini too often as of January / february anyway. I will have the 206 Do to the daily Miles in.

Hi Ben,

Please let me know when you get them, some pics too....what make are they??

I have 9" rims for our project and am desperatly searching the web for tyres.
We have 8" on the fronts with 195/45 R13.

I can only find 215/50 R13 for the rears but the profile looks pants!

Can you look at work for me?? :fear:

They use 8" wide wheels on the racers ÐØGMÁTÌX. But they are on MASSIVE spacers too I think.

Custom_Minis_Ltd, Im back in work tomorrow. Ill check that tyre size.
The tyres im getting are Continental's (One step above Michlin  )

Ill check it out for you. I get 25% off a set of 4 tyres at the moment, and then another 15% off because I work at Kwikfit.

Ill look into it for you. :)

If its not going to be doing much Driving, you could strech some 205 / 50 R13s on there. but I wouldnt Advice it for high speed or heavy cornering.

<|Ben|>

Edit: I found a set of Michlins on the Computer the other day. They were for 14" rims, but im sure they could be available in 13" too. They were

195 / 30 R14  :)

I can't see any racer using 13x7 or 13x8, they'll just be too big and won't give very good handling and they would just be too dammed heavy, unless made from Magnesium or Titanium. I believe racers use 10x6s, 10x7s or 10x8s, they use specific race tyres which are made upto 8" though, so fit properly.

The widest road tyre on 10" wheels you can get is 6", these can be stretched to fit 7", and possibly even 8", but I wouldn't want to try anything more than 7s.

Thats the one I meant when I said 8"
