However there is now:
Mini Se7en S Class
The Mini Se7en S Class is aimed at drivers on a budget. Whether you are a complete novice or an experienced driver returing to racing, the Mini Se7en S Class allows you to join the Mini Se7en grid. With modifications and improvements strictly limited the budget for a season in an S Class car is going to be affordable. While racing with the more highly tuned Se7ens, an S Class car isn't going to be a 'tail end charlie', top 10 finishes are perfectly normal here.

Blimey tempting!

By the way, I was just wondering if some of those cars had been tested on the quarter mile as I'd be curious to know typical time for Se7en, Se7en S and Miglia ...

I dont think many have been taken up the strip, the 0-60 time above is normally said to me a little optomistic, but i have driven one of these things and the acceleration absolutely blew me away, it wasn't just the sheer pace (fastest thing i've even driven by a long way) but it was the way that it changed gear, the dog box literally grabbed the lever as soon as i touched it and pulled it into the next gear, at least thats the best way i can describe it anyway.

The fuel used is limited to a certain octane rating but most of the top runners use Sunoco 76 fuel.

That book is ok, but its quite old now, things have moved on a fair bit

Never said it was modern just it was recommended, david vizards tuning the a-series is quite old now but still followed religiously even though things have moved on

Also I don't know of any other insight books to miglia racing, if you do then post them up as I'm sure people like to read

I just like pictures with the words :)

@Timinichelsea: Thanks for those informations !

ex-F3 mechanic, i was lucky enough to work at same race meeting as Mini7 in the past.

But as you know probably, never had much free time to look around during race week-end.

I was very impressed by those Miglia, many carbon fiber bits in the cockpit, digital dashboards with datalogging... and that was 10 years ago.

Its a good formula - but uber expensive :)
Mighty minis are equally just as fun - not as expensive though as the mods are limited... good close racing though where the size of the cheque book isnt that important! :P

Minicross is quite a spectacle too... hard on the cars though...
