As far as I know - ONLY the Cooper S engine had the 10 nuts + 1 bolt head arrangement.

mg1300, 1300 gt and kestrel also had 10 nuts + 1 bolt and the 12g 1805 g head

Some Mk3 S's definately had EN40B cranks. When they stopped I don't know.

What you should be concerned about is that there appears to be absolutely no breathers fitted to the engine from the photos. The chrome rocker cover leads one to suspect a Vanden Plas 1300 engine. It also has no heater tap on the head and iirc, neither did the 1100/1300.
