You can use any 1275 block for a turbo. It was only the pistons that were different to any other block really.

yes true but will need the pistons also as the block i have has scored the pistons plus mine got liners?so if anyone has a complete metro turbo engine perfect if not can settle for block pistons ect minus gearbox

where do you get 1275 turbo pistons and rings from?plus as stated my block has liners so its a nightmare to get somone to bore out thats why need another engine

I have a linered 1293 block I was going to use for a turbo motor before I built the k series.

It's sat on the workshop floor gathering dust.

to make a decent engine the pistons need to be matched to the bores. so its a bit pot luck buying a 1293 block then buying pistons for it.
