Yeah I think the one spoke looks good!

What pinstripe are you getting? Are you going to go for the red a blue around the rim?

the misses wants to put a single red stripe around the outer ring, (in the groove and slightly around it).
she wants to do it by hand. ill give her the spare to play with and see how she gets on
she basically wants it to look more like the wellers in my sig, she thinks itll draw your eye in a little more.

well you can thank my misses for her devine inspiration, at the very last minute i might add.

im unsure what paint to use to do the pinstripe, im not wanting to mask off the wheel again so its got to be done by hand with a brush.

Pinstripe sounds Good! Im going for a orange pinstripe on the wide steels that im getting, but am going to get it in vinyl rather than paint it on, so if it looks cack it can be easily removed

I think different from standard wheels help to make your Mini stand out from the rest, and a change from the common alternatives such as Minilites! ;)

we did talk about asking roofless to knock me up some sticker pinstripes, but we both reckon itll be a serious pain to line up and get right.
the misses is an arty farty type so will enjoy the painting.

anyone have any ideas what paint will be best, im thinking some red hammerite, a thin brush and a steady hand...?

for the pinstripes find an old vinyl player, spin it on that and using either celluose or hammerite paint the line

this is similiar to guilding going on a cup, but they use a pot throwers wheel not an old record player

if you cant keep a steady hand sellotape the brush to an object and use that as a guide

hope that makes sense!

you can get centres but they stick out loads, and to be honest look much better without.
they are also really quite expensive for what they are.
my beats are tooo sick already lol.
