I've had to think about this.....

£1500 give or take...

in a car, worth nothing, and quite possibly worth more than the car it's in...

Oh dear!!

Leave him to it.

Your offer of £4k was a very very strong one!!

I'd have said more around the £3.5k mark and thats to the right buyer with the wind behind it.

I thought the spec looked familiar.... which is why I had to think about it...

working on the basis that is was of unknown origin, history and build quality then that's about what I would expect...

however, I know the car... I'll not defend the asking price, but it is one of the best looking, sounding and performing minis I've seen or heard...

Yeah, I did notice that the bonnet didn't sit right, also the fitting of the wings looks a little messy.

Were the sills and inner sill replaced correctly, ie vented sills and full length inner sill panels(not the over panel type)

The boot lid doesn't look to be sitting quite right either.

Was the engine actually built by MED or from a kit?

Is it worth it though John as he says he has a unit opposite yours and you know the vehicle?

He says he knows MED personally and they built his engine.

How you guys value a car from pics and without driving them?? Seen this mini and had the pleasure of driving it on more than once! I don't think anyone could buy or build such a high spec mini for the price of 5000. If you don't want to buy don't waste the poor blokes time with stupid emails! If you are seriously interested go and get adie to give you a ride and I garantee you will come back with a :-)
