hi all is it possible to adjust my accelerator cable on my 96 spi? it seems to rev slower now and when o checked under the bonnet the cable seems very slack.is it just a case of undoing the 2 nuts and turning the bolt which the cable runs through or will this also adjust tick over? any info appreciated.thanks

you can just tighten the cable abit more. but not so much that it starts to open the butterfly.
Take your air filter off, ping the black square cable mount out its bracket and wind it up a little.

The throttle cable adjustment is more complicated than that for the SPI engine. Check out post #12 in Sprocket's thread below:
