5.0 degress negative camber? how many tyres do you go through a week?

why would you want that much neggy camber? an f1 car only used 4 at the front!

either youve got your figures wrong or you dont know what makes a car handle well

i think its different to what car spec it is, i see BTCC cars with 8 degrees on the wheels just for driving preferences. but 5 on a mini!?! wowzers.

with regards to fitting the rear camber brackets, can't you shear subframe bolts if they're all rusty?
That's the only reason why I've not got any for mine yet as I don't fancy having to remove the subby to get some new bolts/studs put in.

You will need to make sure that the rear wheels toe in slightly. Toe out is bad.... Very nasty oversteer and a quick trip to the hedge!!!

ah they toe in quite alot actually i can see by eye, but i may still get it set up i know a local place thats pretty good i got my daily driver set up there
i have about 5 degrees neg camber all round handles beautifully

Hey I just got adjustable rear negative camber brackets and was wondering if you could post pictures of your massive 5.0 degree neg camber so i can see how mental i want to go with mine : )

I think you got your eye measurements wrong !!! 5 deg is ridiculous. i raced minis with falcons on and the most we ran on the front was 3.5 deg

General concensus on here seems to be up to 1.5 degs neg on front, unless youn have 13" wheels, i which case a bit less, and zero to 1 deg neg on the rear with front track set to 1/16" toe out and rears set to 1/16" tyo 1/8" toe in. Sorry that's not in degrees, but I'm from the 'steam age'. 'Icklemini' will do it absolutely correctly if you take it to him and he'll alkso make sure the car runs true with no 'crabbing'.
One thing I do wonder, when people on here talk about 'handling' do they mean 'handling' or 'road-holding'? They are not the same thing. A car can have great handling but poor road-holding and vice-versa.
