i love my polo to bits, brilliant reliable car, keeps on going. but when it comes to handling it crashes, bangs, scrubs, goes where it wants, understeers, gets stuck on speedbumps, wears tyres like a bastard and has the worst gear ratios ever for motorway driving with the little wheels, definitly the worst driving car ive had, but also the only car ive had that i like as much as my mini. its my 2nd favorite car ive ever owned... brilliant. :)

I'm surprised at the Focus, my parents had a 1.6 Zetec for a few years and I thought it drove excellent.

Also, I had a Mk6 Escort GTI as a winter runabout last year and I loved it, was great fun, handled very well and was really good on juice, (1.8 zetec with 115bhp) Surprisingly quick too given the relatively low power.

My Escort was not a gti so was dull boring and as I have said has the same problems as all fords.

As for the ford focus's (should that be foci) I have driven the newest one I have driven was an 04 plate. Also I have driven a fair few other similar specked cars that are designed to compete and my preference would go else where. I have always thought, ever since I drove my dads focus for the first time that they are disappointing. I don't see what all the fuss is about them. Maybe it was a bit unfair saying that it is one of the worse cars I have driven but I can think of quite a few that are better. I would have my astra mk3 diesel over my parents focus's (foci?) any day. At least my astra is cheaper to run.

I've never really driven a car I'd say i hated...

Land Rover has it's charms in that it's like driving a house, with no brakes.

What sort of Landy is it?? Series III??
