i read an article on yahoo earlier about the whole mexico joke thing and how theyv upset the albanians or some other country and how they cause so much offense! really wound me up!

why cant people just chill out and take a joke anymore!

i mean im ginger, i get direct jokes made at me or towards me all the time, but i dont go and have a paddy about it!

im a farmer, so i get jokes thrown at me all the time for that! do i go of and have a paddy about that, no?

half of my family have latvian routes, which is next to poland, so i get polish jokes all the time too! again, dont have a paddy about that! just laugh along and even crack a few of my own jokes about it!

all of this joke stuff is pathetic! people need to lighten up! have a joke! throw some banter back at us! jesus! its politics gone mad!

Totally agree mate. It's always people who the joke isn't direct at that make a fuss. I wonder how many Mexican's complained? I wonder how many people with too much time on their hands compained.

i saw a programme on roy chubby brown or whatever his name is, and he just does racist jokes pretty much, he went into a chineese resturant, and all the waiters wanted a photo with him and his autograph! thats what it should be like!

.....Because we live in a nanny state filled with overly PC public servants and media types that dictate what we can and cannot say and what is deemed offensive! That said, sadly we also live in a nation filled with brainless chav idiots that are completely unable to make the distinction between making comments that are a little controversial, yet very amusing and those that are just plain offensive and completely inappropriate. So really there is little wonder that the "PC brigade" blanket ban everything that could be deemed offensive!
