hey guys..

such a pain. the young lad who sold me the car never did up the alternator properly so it rattled loose as i stopped the car up the drive way it pretty much feel off belt slippage was loud!

i could see it dropped a washer onto the cam gears total pain to get out.
fixed it all up.

got it out but when i started the car.. i did not see the other washer that fell in there & it snapped the belt..

THE CAR NEVER STARTED THOUGH. ever. just snapped, so all will be ok there.

anyways my questions is....

do i get another Mk1 belt & Tensioner? it has bd10 cam gears on it..

do i upgrade to a thicker belt? can I? I have read something somewhere about doing this?

can i still keep my adjustable cam gears, i'm a bit out of my element with this but i'm learning about the swift engine.

the belt is in a pain in the ass position though!!

great engine by the way my 1293 mini is so slow compared to this hehe
