Hi guys (and girls)

first visit of 2011, hope everyone is enjoying the new world order.

Picked the brains of 'the mini forum' late last year re race cam options. Some great and helpful suggestions and opinions from you guys, thanks again. Went with the devil we knew in the end, a new 649 full race, its a good cam, drivable and revs over 8000 without too much bother. If it aint broke....

This time I wonder does anyone have any experience or opinions on using a carbon fibre motorbike type exhaust box on a 1380 race engine. I want to do 2 things, increase gas flow and reduce weight. we're using a rusty old steel box at the moment that weighs a tonne! New LCB manifold ready to go on too.

Is this idea a runner? And if so, does anyone know a specific box that might suit?
