Obviously my brakes are too good
I am on , new disks, greenstuff pads and yokotyres , I stopped when the guy in front locked up , i heared a squeel ,felt a big bang and almost got shoved into the guy in front
think she will need a new boot lid !
the bloke that hit me only has 145 tyres , no wonder he just slid , he is well upset as he only just put 2 new wings new front panel ,grill and bonnet and resprayed his mini

Has it kinked the floor or damaged the rear panel?
I nerarly ran into the same Mini 30 twice, the second time I was redy to throw mine onto the grass verge to get out of the way, it went very sidewyas as the brakes snatched. My mate Bob did the same and missed me too, with clouds of tyre smoke.
Your alloys - 100+ ? A guy down at Manchester Minis reckons his are of only 5 sets of those made in 12", whcih we rubbished. Do you know any more about them?

I have been to many mini shows and only seen one set of wheels like mine but those were 10s , so he could be right about them being rare
I bought them off Will H .
did he know any more history of them ?

He has seen them in 10" too.
Woody - sounds like my incident. Don't think yours was quite as bad as I had a kinked quarter panel and the seam went vertically downwards!
Need a new rear panel, valance and bootlid at least won't you?

The guy talks ******** most of the time, like when he told me that the late MPI cooper engine has a slightly different stroke crank and was unique to that engineHardly any, got them from M&M's, just knew that supposedly only made 5 sets in 12" and that they were made by 100+.
He has seen them in 10" too.

Do not believe a word they say and if youu do, take it with a pinch of salt :cheese:
