Hi guys,
I am thinking of doing suicide doors and was just wondering if anyone had any pics and tips on them.

p.s. the pics have to be of suicide doors on classic minis

i think on some of the american trucking websites you can get tips for it but i cant find any pics of this

wow brilliant came to my mind when i read this.
i know of many american cars with suicide doors and have many pictures, but ive never seen a mini with them. I have herd of some but cant help with any pictues of a mini.
but definatley good luck with the doors should look great ;)
cant wait to see a finish product if you go through with it!!

Unless they open extremely wide, it will make getting into the back past the front seats tricky. Not trying to stop you though, just something to think about.

yeah go for it man, ive not gotten round to myn yet. A few things i did find when i was looking tho is you NEED to invest in Deadloc door latch's (http://www.thehoffma...o?itemid=dl2550). Normal latch's just dont cut it. obviously because of the nature of them, only a small amount of air needs to get behind the door when your traveling at speed and there goes your door. (their called suicide doors for a reason) But definately a good idea man, they look amazing.

i was thinking of the not long ago, why not look into the mazda rx8 type doors? theyre small, easy to use and quite discreet, and your doors are less likely to blow off lol
