Some photos of the late Chris Tyrrell (Mini Se7en Champion in 1974, 1986 and 1987) - with beard/white T-shirt - and his Mini Seven. I think the Leyland Mini Challenge sticker on the rear side panel says 1978. Chris was always a front runner and produced many of the leading Mini race engines and cylinder heads at the time from his small workshop in Leatherhead, Surrey.

The Vita-D Racing Team 1964
"The racing activities of the Vita sponsored racing team, based at Littleborough in Lancashire, England captured on film by racing driver Harry Ratcliffe during 1964. Footage includes Oulton Park, Mallory Park, Brands Hatch, Castle Combe and the 1964 Tour de France Automobile. I was at Oulton Park 64 and 65 when I was 8/9 that’s where my mini interest first started we used to stand before Old hall corner where there was a little hump on the track (I think) and that some of the minis wheels used to come off the track can anyone confirm that or is it in my childhood imagination.

That would be it, as a kid I couldn’t quite understand how it could do that and stay on the track. Thanks for that.
