He may at present be banned from buying and selling, but I can't beleive that this is acheived purely by the wording under his avatar. There must be other sanctions in place, therefore, until a decision is made, why punish him further by leaving this wording. Also, I cannot see how a just group can decide to ban him on a permanent basis. He has made ammends to the satisfaction of all wronged, and has several satisfied clients. He has paid his penance...give him another chance.

The wording under his avatar is his usergroup, as with anyone who is banned from buying/selling - by moving them to that usergroup it prevents posting adverts and limits access to the classifieds section. I suggest you read the original topic to see if the people with problems are satisfied with the outcome!

We run this forum privately as enthusiasts, not a business. Everyone is given a chance when they're made a trader, how they choose to conduct their business is up to them. There are other places for them to advertise if they've messed up on here. We don't want to spend our spare time continuously reviewing changed usergroups and won't until someone actually asks us to.

i have not seen anything in the staff area suggestion smart has asked for it to be reviewed

and until he does ask there is no reason for it to be reviewed

if he does ask i would hope it would be looked into, but that doesn't mean it would be lifted if asked

now i hope the op questions have been answered and unless anyone has anything to say about the original question this could be closed
