Oh, well he made it sound more like a single big knock on here which is why everyone was talking about engine steadies!
From the description I don't think it's failed big-ends as they just knock all the time whether you're loading them up or not but it's hard to tell about this kind of thing without actually hearing it.

Mine does this.
It sounds (and feels) like the driver seat subframe is loose, i'll have a look at it sometime.
