Anyone know what the thread on the single tower bolts is?
I'm going to need 4 "normal" set screws to go into the subframe towers so I thought I'd ask here before trying to count threads per inch and measuring the diameter as that can be a bit hit and miss and you always seem to end up with results smack between two listed threads. With smaller stuff it's just easier to buy one of each of the possibles and see which fits but I suspect these are going to be pricey and possibly special order so would rather get the right ones first time.

That's a bit confusing, there are only 2 bolts on the post '76 frame, and they are shouldered and shanked to tighten on the frame while while locating and compressing the rubber mounts correctly: so unique.
The pre '76 frame uses four 5/16unf bolts, though again the original will be better http://www.minispare...=...6759&title=

It's the big post '76 bolts I need to know the thread of. I need normal bolts to replace those unique ones with the long shank. My car uses two front subframes so I need 4.

Aah fairy muff, I'd be highly surprised if they're not UNF - cones are M14 so they must be bigger than that. 5/8 maybe - that's the same as a manifold servo connection or the temperature sender on the cylinder head.
