MED prepared A+ 1380 Block ex 1275 MG Metro. The block has not been used since I got it back from MED.

Specification:

The block has been bored, honed, skimmed, chemically cleaned, fitted with new Cam bearings (and reamed), drilled / tapped for 11 stud head and fitted with a Centre Main Strap.

All work carried out by MED engineering - and I have the original receipt for the work done.

CC = 1380

Bore = 73.5mm

New Cam bearings (have been reamed)

Drilled / tapped for 11 stud head

Fitted with MED Centre Main Strap

Skimmed (to suit 11.5cc dished pistons, with 21cc combustion chambers)

All new Core and Oilway plugs included

Any damaged threads repaired using helicoils (on the transfer housing side - no damaged threads on the head side)

Chemically cleaned

I'm not hiding anything behind shiny layers of paint here, the block is as it is when I collected it and will need a thorough clean before it is rebuilt. It is however in excellent mechanical shape as you would expect of anything that has been worked on by MED.

NO longer needed as have brought a complete engine already done
