OK,

So I was going to go for ultra realistic best shot. Then came up with the open engine idea. Then realised I bit off more than I could chew.

Sooo, I put a rocker billy chick in and thought she might draw the eye!

Nor could I a couple of months back. This isn't my best work by far, I'm still not amazing.

You should give it a go. I use GIMP. Check out the free versions thread.

I probably could have done a really nice looking one. Smoothed the paint out etc.

But I got excited by the open engine idea, wanted to push myself.

I like the idea of older cars hot rodded!

Heres my attempt, not best pleased with the wheels, but the roof chop makes up for that I think. Went for subtle changes rather than full on. Less is more.
