Rust, so much rust. I have rust around the headlights, bottom of the A panels and bottom of the doors. (Well, not me personally, my car does) How much do you reckon to get that sorted? I don't want him to fall apart

why do some garages chop your arms and legs off?? :gasp:
I think you'd be looking anything up to about £1k for your work Modmobile, depending on the seriousness of the rust. If its under the headlamps and also on the A panels then it could well mean a new front end, as often there are other rusty horrors that you can't see until things like headlamps and doors are removed
Don't forget as well that pretty much any bodywork on a Mini will require spraying afterwards, which is also pretty costly.
The garage that Jake recommended looks pretty good though - and been as they're local to you it would be worth taking the car over for them to have a look at.
I sometimes think too that a 'bodywork garage' rather than Mini specific garage can sometimes be better for things like that. IMO they're less likely to use little bodges here and there, and more likely to work harder to get a good result - maybe because they're not working on the same type of car day in day out. That might just be my cynical side though! :erm:
Hope that helps anyway

If you buy the panels from www.minispares.com you can save a shiny penny.

Also, I've got a few genuine panels, and a few non-genuine ones, and theres a big difference! I'm always going for genuines now.

i live near chaple hill minis in braintree he is the guy that does all the top quality flip paint jobs and has sprayed loads of magazine feature cars,
anyway i got a quote for a whole new front end £2000 all in. ouch
and a full respray ie just the spraying is £1400.
he is expensive but the work is so good.
