Last week raised a few questions about rules of the comp, so we will try to clear them up on this one.
The first rule of photoshop comp is that no-one talks about photoshop comp!
The second rule of photoshop comp is that NO-ONE talks about photoshop comp!
But seriously though, there are no real rules to the game, just do not completely scrap the image and use a new one!
I have not seen a picture so far that I have thought, "hmmm that is a bit too much!".
Any images can be used to alter the cars (as long as you have received permission etc etc).
The aim of the game is to change the image, this can be done most effectively when using other images, this is after all what we do in the digital section to help people out and the competition was created to practice your skills.
This weeks pic and theme has been chosen by minim@t (winner of last weeks).
Pic:
Theme:
Beach Buggy/Summer Car (as the weather is brightening up!)
Ends:
Tuesday 22nd March @ 2200hrs (10 at night)
Any questions on rules etc welcome, but it is only a bit of fun and to practice....

Quite excited about this one, should be able to rival minim@t.
Done about an hr so far and it is looking good, haven't decided on colour yet though.
Also found out I can tell google minimum size pic to find, this helps a lot.

Lol. Mine is getting there, I found I can save it as a gimp file so the layers are still there when I go back to it.
First one in a while I've got excited about, and learnt a bit more on this one too.

Ok, mine is pretty much done. Just got the background to sort out and a bit of shadowing. Think I'll be posting mine up tomorrow. (I might just have you beat this time minim@t!)
How's everyone else doing?

Whats going on?
Is there an underground secret meet I'm missing?
Does it have a nod twice, wink and secret hand shake to enter?
Do I need to grow man boobs?
Feel I may be missing out on something, but it all could be my imagination.....
Please someone in the know PM me with details....

Here it is....

Think I might be in with a chance of beating you this time m@t.
PS. I do not have a clue why it is so quite in here recently!

Here is my attempt:
I went brave on this one, i've done the odd photoshop before, but this was my first attempt at combining two cars together and I'm very pleased with most of it, some bits don't quite fit together.
Any comments welcome, i'm always looking to develop my photoshoping skills further

Think that might be crossing the boundries just a little, what do people think?
You have kind of started with a completely new image, then pasted on a few details from the original.
I would say (forget the background) the car is 10-15% original max!
What do people think? Let the entry stay or disqualify?
