Mine was rolling road tuned yesterday and runs on more than ever now. It drives alot better and much more torque. The timing was retarded and the mixture was pretty rich casing a problem. I think there is carbon in the head and with it now running leaner it will just burn away and stop running on.

If you are happy with the way the engine is running but it continues to run-on, just remember the stalling techniques mentioned earlier. Do not let run-on start. It can be bad for the engine bearings.
