Mini 40th Anniversary LE (1999/T)

Low mileage, only 26,902 miles

Sadly it's time to part with "Mulberry the Mini" and "Bump the Trailer".

Rare Limited Edition Mini 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Mini finished In Mulberry Red Pearlescent paint, with full Grenadine Red Leather interior, and Grenadine Red carpets and chequer plate dash. 1.3MPI engine with Maniflow exhaust. Full dark red Leather interior, and silver metal dash including Rover Mini CD Player.

Number 225 of only 250 40th Anniversary minis made (150 in Mulberry Red, 50 in Island Blue and 50 in Old English White) making it a rare and desirable limited edition. Paperwork and presentation case to confirm that it's a genuine 40th Anniversary LE included in sale.

Excellent condition, although showing signs of some early signs of rust (I'd never advertise a mini as rust free, something I learnt after spending months looking for a solid example). If you've owned a mini before you'll know about the dreaded "tin-worm" (rust) and the usual areas it's found on a mini, if you're a mini novice (I was) you'll soon learn there are few truly rust fee examples out there! Rust is showing below headlamps and on bulk head below windscreen (see pictures). Also the alloy wheels (13inch Supalight split silver and gold rims) could do with a refurbish as showing signs of pitting. Trying to be as honest about the condition as possible as I know I looked at several before buying this one and there's nothing worse than travelling to look at a rotten one!

I'm the fourth owner of the car, but MOT's and history confirm the mileage and I had a full AA Report and HPI Inspection carried out prior to purchasing the car. These will be included in the stacks of paperwork and bundles of receipts, but I fully understand that you may wish to have your own taken prior to purchasing. AA/RAC Inspections welcomed.

MOT'd on the 1st June 2010.

Last serviced (April 2010) at 26,497 miles and both front tyres were replaced at the same time. She's has also recently had the front brake pads and discs replaced (October 2009) at 22,351 miles and a rear brake drum and front brake pipe replaced in June this year (paperwork supplied confirming this, along with all the previous paperwork, radio key codes, 2 full sets of keys and 2 remote fobs for the central locking). She’s also has a new battery fitted in the past 2 months

Full Service History, past MOT's, etc all enclosed.

£5800 price includes "Bump" the lightweight fibreglass trailer painted in matching 40th Anniversary livery and the Monsoon custom car cover - also included is the full leather removable centre arm rest and any other spares I have knocking around. Finally the price also includes the illusive 40th Anniversary original presentation case containing an old style log book and a mini 40 model - I will not sell this separately so please don't ask!
