anyone know a 998's top speed when running good and a rough 0-60 time?
Going downhill I've had about 86mph, and 0-60 is probably something like 17-20 seconds.
Does depend on your FD and if your wheels are 10" or 12"

I have since recalibrated it. It now says about 70 at the same noise level.

If it's not safe enough to go fast without bits falling off, it shouldn't be on the road in the first case. No reason why old cars can't do fast speeds if maintained correctly. Unless you meant you'd be flumped should you have an accident at speed because it's an old car, in which case you have half a point.to be honest i wouldnt wuna go fast in a mini lol as it is an old car and any thing could happen thats why im staying with low loud and wide
My 998 stage 1 went just off the clock at 90mph but take into account all the inaccuracies it was probably more like 80 tops. Can't say it was particularly speedy, and there was no way it would accelerate up a hill!
