It's about 200 miles each way for me and i'm still going to head down there :) That is unless it gets cancelled?

Evan.

We drove past you in the hard shoulder. Blue estate and Citreon ax... we beeped and waved and you looked like you was gonna stab us and eat us for dinner! not a happy bunny.

Yeah i saw you :), turned round just as you was going past so didn't really catch what mini it was, but saw the citroen. I wasn't too happy because the rain got to the electrics, but didn't think i looked that angry :ermm:
Anyway i had a good time apart from that and got some pictures of some nice minis, so all in all it was a good day out.
Evan.

it not a citroen, its a clitroen

was a great weekend though, especially camping, where e got threatened to be chucked off the camp site for throwing paper plates at each other.

The fact Josh had a knife in the other hand yet the old t*at was more worried about the plates was the funniest part. Especially whilst drunk LOL Must remember to leave some awful reviews for that campsite!!!!!

it was funny how he sent the little kids over to summonse me over to him, and i couldnt walk in a straight line  we werent being loud, or being hooligans, despite what it sounds like, we were just having a laugh amongst ourselves, i was perfectly reasonable towards him when i went over there and apologised for throwing plates at each other, but he was just a doosh towards us. Ah well, different campsite next year i think.

I took the long trip to Beaulieu last weekend in my '63 Super Delux.
It was a nice dry day on Saturday for the drive down, although the car was playing up a bit, with a bit of dirty in the carb.

Posted Image

Unfortunately Sunday was wet, probably the worst weather the MCR day has ever had. Despite the rain my Austin was running much better and did not suffer at all in the rain.

Posted Image

There was still plenty to see as well.

Including a few Supers

a very much period modded 1960 saloon

a very nice French registered Sprint

and all sorts of ex-works and competition cars.

A great day as usual for rare and intresting Minis, shame about the weather.

On the Monday, typically, the weather was dry again for my drive back up north. However, when I went to start up the '63 it wouldn't start. Turned out the rain had got to it as the dizzy cap had a layer of condensation inside it. After a quick wipe with a bit of kitchen paper normal service was resumed.

If you would like to view the rest of my pictures please click the link below, thanks.
