hi all

just looking for some input on what to do with my mini. i got pulled recently for wheels sticking out of arches. So im now thinking about a change. but im not sure if i should go wider ie 12x 6 revolutions with group 2 wides or narrow with group 2 narrow arches and some mini lights with the correct offset.

i dont want to go down to 10" wheels as i just had all my brakes done for M.O.T, i know i could just get arches to fit , but fancy a change of wheel.

ive added the grille and fitted a centre speedo, plus im getting mk2 rear clusters fitted at weekend. ive seen some cars with number discs on the door, like a plain colour, do you think i should get one in plain silver for each door, to match silver roof. i also have some full length bonnet straps, would they suit.

im looking for adeas really. needs new seats as well really. cobra classic? corbeau classic wides?

Absolutely. Those current wheels look really good on your car! I vote group 2's, chrome trim strip, and some shiney mirrors!

you must be mistaken it's been said time and time again on this forum that it's fine to drive around with your wheels sticking out past the arches

and that Mr MOT man and the police don't care about it

went down this route. i love my new wheels. group 2 arches getting fitted tomorrow

what did you do with the old wheels?

Is that a 'Mk1' bonnet, or did you grind the lip off?

i just grinded the lip off. have just fitted cobra classic and newton commercial carpets.

looks lush inside now


mate i swapped the old wheels for the reverse rims and seats.

ive lowered it abit, i can fit a small finger between bump stop and arm. not sure i should have it resting on bump stops really.
