If too tight it can overheat (locally) and destroy the case, gear etc...
If too loose it can smash itself apart :lol:

Straight cut drops can be looser ^_^

Guess I better try and get it right then. More important that the tollerance is checked as I am going to be using a different transfer casing? I found this guide on the process of checking it, Linky, although I must confess engineering and measurments do not appear on my CV in any way, shape or form, so I am hoping its not going to a mile out ^_^ .

To say that this rebuild is giving me sleepless nights (in fact i ought to include the rest of the car aswell) is a slight understatment and I have never thought so much about getting shot of it!! Seems like no matter how much money I spend on it, its never going to be enough! :dontgetit:
