Guess I better try and get it right then. More important that the tollerance is checked as I am going to be using a different transfer casing? I found this guide on the process of checking it, Linky, although I must confess engineering and measurments do not appear on my CV in any way, shape or form, so I am hoping its not going to a mile outIf too tight it can overheat (locally) and destroy the case, gear etc...
If too loose it can smash itself apart
Straight cut drops can be looser

To say that this rebuild is giving me sleepless nights (in fact i ought to include the rest of the car aswell) is a slight understatment and I have never thought so much about getting shot of it!! Seems like no matter how much money I spend on it, its never going to be enough!
