These are what im useing, and you can buy them from car builders solutions.
i just used some red crimps to bite onto the wires, never had any problems.
On another note, most center brake lights are fitted to bootlids and they are legal???

for example under uk law a fog light cannot be X distance close to a brake light, but it can by eu regs.
Seen as uk, is now in the eu, and they are taking over everything else, i think it would be fair to assume that the EU regs will soon be the one we need to follow.
Dan knows more about it than i do, im just badly repeating what he has said before, with a lack off accuracy

Third brake lamps are optional, not required. It seems also that the stop lamps are not specifically restricted from being mounted on a bootlid when they are separate from the tail lamps, but if they are a single bulb as in most cars they can't be.
Number plate lamps are only required to have a marking on cars from April '86 onwards. Prior to that they are pretty much free lamps, there are very few requirements covering them. As long as they are white and provide enough light to read the number they are acceptable.

Please tell me where

Mines an 88, so i knew i needed an E mark, but thats a but i didnt know it was 86 it came in from, thought it was 73.
I would like to see a definition of a 'white' lamp since conventional filiment lamps give out a distinct yellow tinge, yet a white LED bulb has a slight blue tinge.
Neither of them are actually 'white'.
